Welcome Home

First Lutheran Church -- Yuba City

Walking alongside the Yuba-Sutter area, so that you can rest, grow, and love.

Suspended This Weekend!

850 Cooper Ave

Dear Friends in Christ,

Pursuant to government guidelines regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are suspending all worship services and social ministries until further notice. Once the restrictions are lifted, we will let you know the dates and times we will resume services and ministries.

During this time:

1) The church office will be open. If any needs arise requiring a response from Pastor Mike or Nathan, don’t hesitate to call (673-8894) or come into the office.

2) We will be posting sermons online every week. If you have a Facebook account, you can view the sermons on the church’s Facebook page (First Lutheran Church Yuba City) or on the church’s website (www.flcyc.org).

3) If you are self-quarantined due to age or high-risk status, please contact the church office (673-8894). We will be able to put you in touch with a member who can pick up groceries or medical prescriptions for you.

4) Please consider mailing or dropping off your offerings. For a congregation as small as ours, loss of a month’s giving would be very detrimental.

Again, as soon as these restrictions are eased, we will let you know how and when we will resume activities. Meanwhile we continue to pray for the health of all in the path of this virus.

Until then, remember that faith is greater than fear and that God is at our side to protect us.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1 ESV)

In His service,

Pastor Mike and Nathan Linehan
